Method

Waffles

  1. 1

    Make the Waffle Batter

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.

  2. 2

    Cook the Waffles

Preheat the waffle maker. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown. Remove and repeat with remaining batter.

  3. 3

    Serve

Top the waffles with powdered sugar before serving.

Scrambled Eggs

  1. 4

    Prepare the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

  2. 5

    Cook the Eggs

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until soft curds form and the eggs are fully cooked.

Baked Bacon

  1. 6

    Bake the Bacon

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bacon strips on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy. Remove from the oven and drain on paper towels.
