Preparation of Brussels Sprouts
- 1
Trim and Halve
Begin by trimming the ends of the Brussels sprouts and removing any yellow or damaged leaves. Then, cut each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise.
- 2
Season
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure even coating.
Roasting Brussels Sprouts
- 3
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Arrange Sprouts
Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down for maximum crispiness.
- 5
Roast
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the sprouts are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
Prepare Spicy Maple Soy Glaze
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Sriracha, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
Toss and Serve
- 7
Glaze the Sprouts
Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove them from the oven and immediately drizzle the spicy maple soy glaze over them. Toss gently to coat.
- 8
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with additional Sriracha or sesame seeds if desired.
