Meatloaf Preparation

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breakfast pork sausage, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

Shape the Meatloaf

Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

Prepare the Glaze

In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and maple syrup until well combined.

Glaze the Meatloaf

Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf before baking.

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Finishing Touches

Add Remaining Glaze

During the last 10 minutes of baking, spread the remaining glaze over the meatloaf.

Prepare Eggs

While the meatloaf is baking, fry or scramble the additional two eggs to your preferred doneness.

Once the meatloaf is cooked, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with the fried eggs and buttery biscuits, with a pat of butter on the biscuits.
