Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Orange Juice

Squeeze fresh oranges to obtain 1 cup of orange juice. Strain the juice to remove any pulp if desired.

  2. 2

    Mix the Base Ingredients

In a large mixing jug, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice, granulated sugar, and orange zest. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. 3

    Combine with Carbonated Water

Slowly pour in the carbonated water to the juice mixture. Stir gently to combine, ensuring not to lose too much carbonation.

  4. 4

    Serve over Ice

Fill a serving glass with ice cubes and pour the orange soda mixture over the ice. Fill to the top for a refreshing drink.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Add Garnishes (Optional)

If desired, garnish the drink with orange slices on the rim of the glass and add mint leaves for a fresh aroma.
