Method
Preparing the Burger Patties
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, ensuring they are about 1 inch thick.
Grilling the Patties
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 200°C or 400°F).
- 4
Grill the Patties
Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- 5
Add Cheese
During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
Assembling the Burgers
- 6
Prepare the Buns
Toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.
- 7
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each bun, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Place a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled chicken patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, pickles, and a tablespoon of ketchup. Top with the other half of the bun.
