Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine chicken wings, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

  2. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while the wings are marinating.

  3. 3

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the rack.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 4

    Bake the Wings

Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time, until they are crispy and cooked through.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the hot sauce, honey, and vinegar to the melted butter and stir until well combined. Remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 6

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the prepared sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.

  2. 7

    Prepare the Sides

Cut the celery and carrot sticks into bite-sized pieces and arrange them on a serving platter alongside the ranch dressing.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the hot, sauced chicken wings with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and ranch dressing on the side.
