Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

Take the ground beef and divide it into two equal portions. Form each portion into a ball and then flatten them into patties, making them slightly larger than the burger buns.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the hot surface and smash them down with a spatula to create a thin patty. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

Flip the patties and immediately place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on another skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom bun, place a layer of lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, sliced tomato, and onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Fries

Follow the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Typically, this involves preheating the oven and spreading the fries on a baking sheet.

  2. 7

    Bake the Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

  3. 8

    Season the Fries

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with salt to taste.
