Method
Burger
- 1
Prepare the beef patties
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide it into 4 equal portions and gently form them into balls without overworking the meat.
- 2
- 3
Add cheese
Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- 4
Toast the buns
While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on another skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 5
Fries
- 6
Prepare the potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even strips to ensure uniform cooking.
- 7
Heat the oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 8
Fry the potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- 9
Drain and season
Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt to taste while they are still hot.
