Method
Grilled Cheese Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Pan
Place a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and allow it to heat up for about 2-3 minutes.
- 2
Butter the Bread
Spread 1 tablespoon of butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- 3
Assemble the Sandwich
Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, onto the skillet. Add 2 slices of cheddar cheese on top, then place the other slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
- 4
Grill the Sandwich
Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and both sides are golden brown.
- 5
Remove and Slice
Remove the sandwich from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then slice it in half diagonally.
Fries Preparation
- 6
Prepare the Fries
While the sandwich is grilling, prepare the frozen french fries according to the package instructions, usually baking or frying.
- 7
Season the Fries
Once cooked, remove the fries from the oven or fryer and sprinkle with salt to taste.
- 8
Serve with Ketchup
Serve the fries hot with ketchup on the side for dipping.
