Method
Fish Sticks
- 1
Prepare the Fish
Cut the white fish fillets into finger-sized strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Fish
Coat each fish strip in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing slightly to adhere.
- 4
Fry the Fish Sticks
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded fish sticks in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
French Fries
- 5
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, resembling traditional French fries.
- 6
Fry the Potatoes
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 180°C (350°F). Carefully add the potato strips in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
Ketchup
- 7
Serve the Ketchup
Pour the ketchup into a small bowl or serve directly from the bottle.
