Fish Preparation

Prepare the Haddock
Rinse the haddock fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Rub the Cajun seasoning evenly over both sides of the haddock fillets.
Cooking

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cook the Haddock
Add the seasoned haddock fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is blackened and cooked through.

Mix the Tartar Sauce
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, dill pickles, capers, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
Plating

On each plate, place a few leaves of bibb lettuce, top with a blackened haddock fillet, and serve with a generous dollop of tartar sauce on the side.
