Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Spinach and Mushrooms
In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the chopped mushrooms until golden brown. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper.

Make the Goat Cheese Cream Sauce
In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and goat cheese over low heat. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, crumbled bacon, and goat cheese cream sauce. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Prepare for Baking
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with crumbled peppered goat cheese and bread crumbs.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
