Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Burger Patties
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hickory smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

- 4
Cook the Burgers
In the same skillet used for bacon, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of white cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- 5
Prepare the Aioli
In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise to create the Dijon aioli.
- 6
Assemble the Burgers
Toast the burger buns lightly. Spread Dijon aioli on the bottom half of each bun, add the burger patty with melted cheese, top with crispy bacon, a spoonful of tomato marmalade, and crispy fried onions. Place the top bun over the fillings.
