Method

Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, ground cumin, and ground coriander.

2

Add Water

Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms. You may need to adjust the amount of water slightly depending on the flour.

3

Shape the Dough

Knead the dough for a few minutes until it is smooth, then divide it into small balls (about the size of a golf ball).

4

Roll Out the Dough

On a lightly floured surface, roll out each ball into a thin circle (about 1/4 inch thick).

5

Cook the Flatbreads

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil. Cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

6

Serve

Once cooked, stack the flatbreads on a plate. Drizzle with honey before serving or serve honey on the side for dipping.
