Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This will ensure that your Weape bakes evenly.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully blended.

Baking

  1. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

  2. 5

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, fold the melted butter into the batter.

  3. 6

    Add Nuts (Optional)

If using, fold in the chopped nuts into the batter for added texture.

  4. 7

    Pour Batter into Pan

Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared dish.

  5. 8

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Serving

  1. 9

    Cool and Cut

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Cut into squares or slices.

  2. 10

    Add Toppings

Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top and a side of fresh berries.
