Burger Patty

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties about 1 inch thick.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat a charbroiler or grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Prepare the Toppings and Sauce

  1. 5

    Slice the Tomato

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato into thin rounds.

  2. 6

    Prepare the House Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Toast the Buns

Optionally, toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.

  2. 8

    Build the Burger

Spread house sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked burger patty, sliced tomato, and finally the top half of the bun.
