Chicken Marinade

Method

Marinating the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

Cooking the Chicken

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  3. 5

    Grill the Pineapple

During the last few minutes of grilling the chicken, add the pineapple slices to the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are caramelized and have grill marks.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each bun, add a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled chicken breast, a grilled pineapple slice, and drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
