Fish Fillet

Method

Cooking the Fish Fillet

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Fish

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of the fish fillets.

  3. 3

    Cook the Fish

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the fish fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and opaque in the center.

Preparing the Teriyaki Chicken

  1. 4

    Make the Teriyaki Sauce

In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch mixed with water until smooth.

  2. 5

    Cook the Chicken

In a separate skillet, heat a little oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

  3. 6

    Add the Sauce

Pour the teriyaki sauce over the cooked chicken and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the chicken.

  4. 7

    Garnish

Slice the cooked chicken and sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.
