Fish Fillet

Method

Fish Fillet Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

Rinse the white fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Set up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dip each fillet into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Pan Fry the Fillets

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once the butter is hot, add the breaded fish fillets. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Tartar Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix the Tartar Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped pickles, lemon juice, capers, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Serve the pan-fried fish fillets hot with a generous dollop of tartar sauce on the side. Enjoy with a lemon wedge if desired!
