Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation of Bulgogi

  1. 1

    Marinate the Beef

In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the bulgogi beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best flavor.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bulgogi

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated bulgogi beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Prepare the Rolls

Slice the sandwich rolls in half horizontally. If desired, lightly toast the insides on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

  2. 4

    Build the Sandwich

Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on the inside of each roll. Place a few lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each roll. Top with a generous portion of the cooked bulgogi beef, ensuring even distribution. Close the sandwich with the top half of the roll.

  3. 5

    Serve

Cut the sandwiches in half if desired and serve immediately while warm.
