Prepare the Filling

Cook the Rice
In a medium saucepan, cook 1 cup of rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, set aside.

Prepare Black Beans
Rinse and drain the 1 cup of black beans. Set aside.

Prepare Jalapeños
Slice 2 whole jalapeños and remove seeds if less heat is desired. Set aside.

Cook the Chorizo
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 cup of chorizo until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.

Prepare Carnitas
If using pre-cooked carnitas, shred 1 cup of carnitas. If cooking from scratch, slow cook pork shoulder with spices until tender.
Assemble the Burrito

Warm the Tortillas
Gently warm 4 large flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.

Layer the Ingredients
On each tortilla, layer 1/4 cup rice, 1/4 cup black beans, caramelized onions, jalapeños, chorizo, carnitas, 1/4 cup cheese, and 1/4 cup sour cream.

Wrap the Burrito
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll from the bottom to the top, ensuring the filling is secured inside.
Serve the Burrito

Top with Sauces
Place the wrapped burritos on a serving plate and generously pour 1/4 cup of medium-spicy red sauce and 1/4 cup of cheese dip over each burrito.

Garnish and Serve
Optionally, garnish with chopped cilantro or extra jalapeños. Serve immediately and enjoy!
