Marinade the Steak

Prepare Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Steak
Place the flank steak in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is fully coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it on the stove over medium-high heat.

Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak for 4-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.

Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.
