Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Marinate the Steak
Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it's well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight for best flavor.

Slice the Steak
After resting, slice the steak into thin strips against the grain.
