Steak Preparation

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450-500°F (232-260°C).

Grill the Steak
Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the time to your preferred doneness.

Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Cut the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to your desired fry thickness.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Season
Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
Serving

Plate the Dish
On a serving plate, place a portion of fries alongside the sliced grilled steak.

Top the steak with shredded cheese, and serve with a side of sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo.
