Method

Sausage Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sausage Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork sausage, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until all spices are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the sausage mixture into four equal parts and shape each into a patty format, about 3 inches wide.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.

Eggs

  1. 4

    Prepare the Eggs

In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 5

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet used for the sausage, add butter over medium heat. Pour in the whisked eggs and scramble until they are fluffy and cooked to your liking, about 3-4 minutes.

Hashbrowns

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and grate them using a box grater. If using onion, grate it as well. Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes using a clean kitchen towel.

  2. 7

    Cook the Hashbrowns

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the grated potatoes and onion (if using) to the skillet, spreading them out evenly. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy, then flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the other side is golden.

Toast

  1. 8

    Toast the Bread

While the hashbrowns are cooking, toast the bread slices in a toaster until golden brown. Spread butter on the toasted bread.
