Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.
- 4
Add Cheese
Top each piece of chicken with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Pasta Cooking
- 5
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Add the spaghetti or penne and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- 6
Drain the Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside. You can toss it with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
