Method

Prepare the Hashbrowns

  1. 1

    Cook the Hashbrowns

In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add 2 cups of frozen hashbrowns and season with 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

Cook the Eggs

  1. 2

    Fry the Eggs

In a separate frying pan, crack 2 eggs and cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, scrambled, etc.). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Prepare the Hotcakes

  1. 3

    Make the Hotcake Batter

In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of milk, 1 egg, 2 tsp of baking powder, 2 tbsp of sugar, and 1 tsp of salt until smooth.

  2. 4

    Cook the Hotcakes

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each hotcake into the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 5

    Fry the Bacon

In the same skillet used for the hotcakes, add 4 slices of bacon and cook over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
