Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Set aside in a bowl of fresh water while you prepare the other ingredients.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large pot or pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Add the Wine and Clams

Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the clams to the pot, cover, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened.

  4. 4

    Season and Garnish

Once the clams are cooked, add the cilantro, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.

  5. 5

    Serve

Transfer the clams to a serving dish, pour the broth over them, and garnish with additional cilantro. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
