Prepare the Glass
Start by chilling a rocks glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add the gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes to the top.

Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Empty the chilled rocks glass of ice water and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink by holding it skin-side down and gently bending it. Drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.
