Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of each fillet with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets on the preheated grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Do not let it brown.

  2. 5

    Add Lemon and Garlic

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then, stir in the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest.

  3. 6

    Finish the Sauce

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving the Dish

  1. 7

    Plate the Salmon

Remove the grilled salmon from the grill and place it on serving plates.

  2. 8

    Drizzle with Sauce

Spoon the lemon butter sauce generously over each salmon fillet.

  3. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
