Crab Cake Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Crab Mixture
In a large bowl, gently combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, bread crumbs, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 2
Form the Crab Cakes
Shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Place the patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- 3
Cook the Crab Cakes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
