Finely chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.
- 3
Season the Mixture
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar over the tomato and basil mixture. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Mix Ingredients
Gently toss the ingredients together until well combined. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld for about 10-15 minutes.

While the mixture is resting, slice the baguette or crusty Italian bread into 1/2 inch thick slices.
