Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Steak

Season the sirloin steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is resting, wash and chop the organic spring mix, roma tomatoes, cucumber, and carrots. Slice the tomatoes and cucumber, and julienne the carrots.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the spring mix, tomatoes, cucumber, and carrots. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then toss to coat the vegetables evenly.

  4. 4

    Top with Steak and Cheese

Slice the rested steak into thin strips and place on top of the salad. Crumble feta cheese or blue cheese over the top as desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Toss the salad gently before serving. Enjoy your delicious steak salad!
