Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.

  3. 3

    Make the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

  4. 4

    Add the Eggs

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  5. 5

    Bake the Cheesecake

Pour the filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top. Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.

  6. 6

    Cool and Refrigerate

Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour to cool gradually. Then, remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  7. 7

    Serve

Once chilled, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and serve as desired.
