Directions

  1. 1

    Soak the Almonds

Place the raw almonds in a bowl and cover them with 2 cups of water. Let them soak for at least 8 hours or overnight.

  2. 2

    Drain and Rinse

After soaking, drain the almonds and rinse them under cold water.

  3. 3

    Blend Almonds

In a blender, combine the soaked almonds with 4 cups of fresh water. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Strain the Milk

Using a nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer, strain the blended mixture into a large bowl. Squeeze or press to extract as much liquid as possible.

  5. 5

    Flavor (optional)

If desired, add sweetener and vanilla extract to the strained almond milk and blend again to combine.

  6. 6

    Store the Milk

Transfer the almond milk to a sealed container and refrigerate. Shake well before using.
