Chicken Kefta

Method

Chicken Kefta

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

Add Olive Oil and Lemon Juice

Drizzle in the olive oil and lemon juice, then mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  3. 3

    Form the Kefta

Wet your hands with water and take a portion of the mixture to form into elongated patties or skewers. Repeat until all mixture is shaped.

  4. 4

    Cook the Kefta

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the kefta for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown.

Tzatziki

  1. 5

    Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber and place it in a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze out the excess moisture to prevent the tzatziki from being watery.

  2. 6

    Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

  3. 7

    Chill the Tzatziki

Cover the tzatziki and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
