Ahi Tuna & Watermelon

Preparation of Ingredients

Prepare the Watermelon
Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes and set aside in a mixing bowl.

Slice the Radishes
Thinly slice the radishes and add them to the bowl with watermelon.

Chop the Cucumber
Peel and slice the cucumber into thin rounds, then add to the watermelon and radish mixture.
Yuzu Nigella Vinaigrette

Make the Vinaigrette
In a small bowl, whisk together yuzu juice, olive oil, nigella seeds, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Cooking the Ahi Tuna

Sear the Tuna
Heat a skillet over high heat. Season the ahi tuna steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides. Sear the tuna for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until the outside is browned but the inside remains rare.

Slice the Tuna
Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a minute. Then slice it into thin strips.
Assembly

Combine and Serve
In a large serving platter, arrange the watermelon, radish, and cucumber mixture. Top with the sliced ahi tuna and drizzle with the yuzu nigella vinaigrette. Serve immediately.
