Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Make the Whiskey Sauce
In a saucepan, mix the barbecue sauce and remaining whiskey. Simmer for 10 minutes and set aside.

Prepare Cornbread Waffles
In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, milk, and eggs until smooth. Preheat a waffle maker and cook the batter according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Make the Slaw
Shred the cabbage and carrots. In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and toss with the shredded vegetables until well combined.

Serve
Once the pork is done, shred it with two forks. Serve on cornbread waffles topped with pulled pork and drizzle with whiskey sauce. Serve slaw on the side.
