BBQ Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this mixture all over the baby back ribs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribs

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine the 913 whiskey, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush a generous amount of the BBQ sauce over the ribs.

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Place the ribs under the broiler for 5-10 minutes, watching closely, until the sauce is caramelized.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Fries and Slaw

While the ribs are broiling, cook the fries according to package instructions. In a bowl, mix the coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, and salt.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the BBQ ribs with fries and coleslaw on the side.
