    Preparation of Ingredients

    Rinse the Ong Choy thoroughly under cold water and chop into 2-3 inch pieces. Mince the garlic and slice the red chili.

    Stir-frying the Ong Choy

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced red chili, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

    Adding Ong Choy

    Add the chopped Ong Choy to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the leaves are wilted but still bright green.

    Seasoning

    Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another minute.

    Optional Cake Noodles

    If using, add the cooked cake noodles to the wok and toss everything together until well combined. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
