For the Garlic Herb Butter

Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Store the Butter
Transfer the garlic herb butter to a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap, shape it into a log, and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
For the House Red Sauce

Cook the Sauce
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Bring to a simmer and reduce the heat to low. Let the sauce simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
For the Italian Loaf

Bake the Bread
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the butter is melted.
Serving

Serve
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice and serve with the house red sauce on the side for dipping.
