Method

Preparation of Fruits

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Slice the oranges, lemons, and limes into thin rounds. Cut the peaches into wedges. If using strawberries, slice them in half. Combine all the prepared fruits in a large pitcher.

Mixing the Sangria

  1. 2

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the bottle of red wine into the pitcher with the prepared fruits. Add the orange juice, brandy, and sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.

  2. 3

    Add Sparkling Water

Just before serving, add the sparkling water or soda to the pitcher. Give it a gentle stir to combine.

  3. 4

    Infuse with Cinnamon

Add the cinnamon stick to the mixture for added flavor. Allow the sangria to sit for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator to let the flavors meld together.

Serving the Sangria

  1. 5

    Serve Chilled

Serve the sangria over ice in glasses. Make sure to include some of the fruit pieces in each glass for garnish.
