Method
Prepare the Caesar Dressing

Make Caesar Dressing
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, minced garlic (from the garlic cloves), anchovy fillets (mashed), lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste. Set aside.
Prepare the Croutons

Make Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread slices into cubes. In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, and salt. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Stir halfway through for even browning.
Cook the Herb Chicken (optional)

Cook Chicken
If using, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and no longer pink inside. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
Assemble the Salad

Combine Salad Ingredients
In a large bowl, add the mixed greens and pour the Caesar dressing over them. Toss well to coat the greens evenly.

Add Toppings
Top the dressed salad with shaved Parmesan cheese and garlic herb croutons. If using, add the sliced herb chicken on top.

Serve
Serve immediately as a fresh salad option!
