Chicken Tenders

Dipping Sauce

Method

Preparation of Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together in the second bowl, and mix the bread crumbs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

First, coat each chicken strip in flour, shaking off the excess. Then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off. Finally, coat it with the bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Frying Chicken Tenders

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet or deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of bread into it; if it sizzles, it's ready.

  2. 5

    Fry Chicken Tenders

Carefully place a few chicken strips in the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  3. 6

    Drain Excess Oil

Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Preparation of Dipping Sauce

  1. 7

    Mix Dipping Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth and combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
