Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Dredge the Chicken

Set up a dredging station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast first in the flour, shaking off the excess, then in the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring an even coating.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Buffalo Sauce

  1. 4

    Make the Buffalo Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

  2. 5

    Toss the Chicken

Place the fried chicken breasts in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the chicken and toss until each piece is well coated.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each burger bun, place a layer of lettuce followed by a piece of the buffalo chicken. Top with sliced tomato and a drizzle of blue cheese dressing. Place the top half of the bun over the sandwich.

  2. 7

    Serve

Cut the sandwiches in half if desired and serve immediately with extra buffalo sauce on the side.
