Toppings Preparation

  1. 1

    Chop the Tomatoes

Dice the Roma tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Chop the Basil

Finely chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Garlic Preparation

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the tomato and basil mixture.

  4. 4

    Season the Mixture

Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the mixture. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well until combined.

Bread Preparation

  1. 5

    Slice the Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices at a diagonal angle.

  2. 6

    Brush with Olive Oil

Brush each slice lightly with extra virgin olive oil on one side.
