Chicken Wings

Sauces and Seasonings

Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Make the Batter

In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.

  4. 4

    Dredge Chicken

Dip each piece of chicken into the wet mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the dry mixture.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 6

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per batch.

  3. 7

    Drain the Wings

Remove the chicken from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Saucing the Wings

  1. 8

    Toss in Sauce

In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken with your choice of sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, or Honey Garlic) until evenly coated.

  2. 9

    Add Seasonings

If desired, sprinkle with ranch seasoning mix and Parmesan cheese for additional flavor.
