Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the Hard-Boiled Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover and remove from heat. Let the eggs sit in hot water for 12 minutes. Afterward, transfer them to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, peel and slice the eggs into quarters.

2

Prepare the Vegetables

Wash the cucumber and tomato thoroughly. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds and the tomato into wedges. Set aside.

3

Assemble the Board

On a large serving board or platter, arrange the smoked salmon slices in a fan shape. Scatter the capers over the salmon. Place the diced onions, cucumber slices, and tomato wedges around the salmon. Add the quartered hard-boiled eggs to the board.

4

Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle fresh dill over the entire board for garnish. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the smoked salmon.
