Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Protein

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

In the same skillet, add the chicken breast and cook for about 10-12 minutes until fully cooked. Remove and shred into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

In a separate pan, grill the salmon fillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Flake into small pieces.

  4. 4

    Prepare Carbohydrates

In a pot, combine brown rice and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is tender. For the sweet potato, peel, cube, and boil in water until soft, about 15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Steam Vegetables

In a steamer basket, add carrots, peas, and spinach. Steam for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Mixing

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, shredded chicken, flaked salmon, cooked brown rice, and sweet potato. Mix well.

  2. 7

    Add Vegetables and Supplements

Add the steamed vegetables, fish oil, flaxseed, and vitamin E to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Scoop the mixture into your Great Dane's food bowl and serve at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
