Slice the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices diagonally.
- 2
Prepare Garlic Oil
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with minced garlic cloves. Brush the mixture onto both sides of each baguette slice.

Bake the Baguette
Place the brushed baguette slices on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
Make the Pesto Topping

Blend Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Pulse to Mix
Pulse the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency. You may need to scrape down the sides of the processor to ensure everything is well blended.
Assemble and Bake

Top the Bruschetta
Once the baguette slices are baked, remove them from the oven and spread a generous amount of the pesto topping on each slice.
